He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Hawkins and Gladys Hawkins; his wife Ruth Rupe; his sister Lois Fisher (Nicholas); and his son Edward (Butch).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas, Gary (Brenda), James (Pat), Teresa, Crista and George (Jamie). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.
