He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Hawkins and Gladys Hawkins; his wife Ruth Rupe; his sister Lois Fisher (Nicholas); and his son Edward (Butch).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas, Gary (Brenda), James (Pat), Teresa, Crista and George (Jamie). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Service, Hughes-Allen Chapel (318 Mt Vernon Ave, Marion, OH 43302). A burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at the Green Camp Cemetery (2932 Owens-Green Camp Rd, Marion, OH 43302).
