Virginia Rigsby Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Rigsby (Gratis, Ohio), born in Beattyville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 30, 2020 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Rigsby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Day and Minnie Day (Toler); and her siblings, Mavis McCloud, Christina Day, Wilma Wilson and Willard.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Rigsby of Gratis; her children, William "Billy" Rigsby of Gratis, Jenny Newkirk-Gilbert of Gratis and Tammy Smith (Dale) of Gratis; her grandchildren, Justin Newkirk, Tara Newport, Erica Zornes, Jessie Clark, Taylor Rigsby, Hayley Rigsby, Brittany Smith and Dustin Smith; and her sisters, Emma Short and Lillian Zimmerman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis.
