He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Trent and Mary Trent (Fisher). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Trent (Payne); his children, Matthew Trent (Cherie), Michael Trent (Victoria), Mary Simpson (Sam), Mark Trent (Janet) and Martin Trent (Melissa); and his sisters, Margaret Martin and Kathy Zumbahlen (William). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
