He was predeceased by: his father Shorty Myers; his son Ricci; his brother Dale; and his sons, Glenn "Bud" Chasteen and Shane Chasteen.
He is survived by: his wife Nokie Gevedon Myers; and his children, Joyce Miller (Mark) of Camden, Lori Layton (Don) of Eaton, Debbie Chasteen of Eaton, Karri Myers McKamey of Tennessee and Bill Chasteen (Jeanie) of Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren and 30 plus great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
