He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cornett and Ellen Cornett (Taylor); and his siblings, Florence Jones, James Cornett and Jesse "Bud" Cornett.
He is survived by: his wife Jacki Cornett (Hawkins) of Gratis, OH; his children, Jenny Helvey (Jeff) of Sunbury, OH and Bill Cornett (Brandi) of Gratis, OH; his sister Pat Youngen (Ted) of Moraine, OH; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Levi, Hannah, Eli, Gaven and Eva. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
