We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2023, at the age of 100, Doris J. Unruh of Gratis, Ohio, born in Goessel, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Franzen and Lydia Franzen (Dalke); her husband Alfred Unruh; her son Jerry Unruh; and her siblings, Elma Mishler, Irvin Franzen, Daniel Franzen and Kenneth Franzen.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Bornemann (Dan) of Fairview, Oklahoma and Mike Unruh (Kim) of Gratis, Ohio; her sister Margo Adams of Panama City, Florida; her grandchildren, Rev. Christina Hayworth (Brent) of Burkburnett, TX, Gary Bailey (Ciji) of Pennsylvania and Jessica Roberts (David) of Germantown, Ohio; and her great grandchildren, Lydia Hayworth, Ethan Roberts, Dylan Roberts, Gracie Roberts, Sierra Bailey, Bella Bailey, Anthony Stump and Brandon Cerami. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Central Christian Church.
