He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon "Gene" Meter and Donna Van Meter (Wolfe); and his children, William Charles Van Meter and Angela Lauer-Clarke (Angie). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Sena Wingeier (Bob) and Todd Van Meter (Amanda); his grandchildren, Amber, Robby, Jory and Jaqui; his sister Sandy Evans (Terry); his extended family, Susan, Champ, Mattie Mae and Sammy; and his friend Dave Sandman. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bill's name to the Licking County Humane Society.
