He is survived by: his wife Helga Gilkes (Shroeck); his daughters, Barbara Gilkes, Mary Davis (Gary) and Joanne Haas (Greg); his grandchildren, William Davis (Catherine), Elizabeth, Jennifer, Andrew Davis, Lisa, Susan Holtkamp (Mark) and Jonathan Haas; his stepdaughters, Angela Ferraris (Larry) and Erica Clark (Rod); his stepgranddaughters, Kala Ankrom (Malachi), Betsy Clark and Jaxson Ankrom; and his sister Josephine Johnstone.
