He was predeceased by: his parents, Wojiech Szczesny and Anastasia Szczesny (Dressler); his wife Gail Szczesny (Wem); his son Stephen Christopher; his grandson Thomas Stephen; and his sons-in-law, Paul Pijacki and Phil Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Pijacki, Jill Marie (Tim Salzler), Jana (Bob McCarthy), Jenifer (Paul Schildwachter), Sandra Szczesny, Robert A. (Cindy Szczesny) and Jonathan D. (Ya'Fen Szczeny).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (128 S 7th St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (4443 S Buffalo St, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
