He is survived by: his wife Wilma E. Newton (Snedden); his son David S. Newton of Heath; his grandson Cody Newton (Amanda) of Newark; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Newton and Richard Snedden of Newark. He is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews.
