She was predeceased by: her father Ralph R. Atta; her stepfather C. Ross Henderson; her son Ross Douglas Kouns; her great-nephew James Van Atta Bourgraf; and her brother Ronald G. Van Atta.
She is survived by: her son Ralph David Kouns of Boulder City, Nevada; her granddaughter Raquel Davida Jasmer; her great grandchildren, Fiona Pearl and Elodie Ross of Puyallup, WA; her sister-in-law Emma Lou Van Atta; her nephews, Kirk Van Atta (Kim) of Lake Forest, CA and Roy Van Atta (Patty) of Newark, OH; and her niece Lisa Van Atta (Joseph). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces.
