He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell McClain, Sr. and Ada Kattiew McClain; his former wife Fyrne; his wife Jeanne; and his stepson Jerry Gordon.
He is survived by: his son Craig McClain (Marion) of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandson John D. McClain (Abbey) of Columbus; his stepdaughter Nancy Rayment (Larry) of Piney Flats, TN; and his stepdaughter-in-law Teresa Gordon of Johnstown. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters, 6 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.
