James C. Otto Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2023, at the age of 86, James C. Otto of Granville, Ohio, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Costello; his brother Joseph Costello Otto; and his brother-in-law George Danforth. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Otto (Spohrer); his children, James C. Otto (Julie Daniels), Karen Otto, Michael Otto (Patti Jo) and Kimberly Causey (Joel); his grandchildren, Catherine Whitney (Joseph), Joseph, Alexandra Otto, Michael and Lucy Otto; his great grandchild Hazel Whitney; his sister Katherine Danforth; his sister-in-law Rosemary Otto; and his godson Danh Nguyen (Joann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Jim's name be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Center, 135 Wilson Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
