He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester B. Hall and Ada M. Hall; and his siblings, Frances Jobe (John) and Arthur Hall (Imogene). He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his sons, Ralph B. Hall (Nancy), Herb L. Hall Jr. (Roberta), Stephen A. Hall, Glenn D. Hall (Marianne) and Mark M. Hall (Courtney); and his brothers-in-law, Charles and Arthur Porter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother.
