Gary E. Ellis Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ellis and Margaret L. Ellis (Schneider); and his son Ben Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Laura Ellis; his children, Kathy Mattice (Jason) and Paul Ellis (Naoko); his grandchildren, Kennedy Mattice, Parker Mattice, Taylor Mattice, Lio Ellis and Nina Ellis; his cousins, Rod Ellis (Sharlet) and Cheryl Rose (Bill); his mother-in-law Theresa Krempel; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Hurps (Rick), Anita Taulbee (John), Larry Krempel (Barb), Dick Krempel (Kim), Mary Jane Parks (Mike), Joe Krempel (Robin), Lou Krempel (Martha) and Dave Krempel (Toni). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gary made significant contributions to his community through coaching Little League baseball, actively participating in the Ohio State Bar Association, and serving as a judge pro tem for the Newark court system.
