Shurtz and Verlie Shurtz (Beans); his grandfather Frank Shurtz; his wife Cathy; his children, David and Andrea; his grandchildren, Ariel and Tanner; his sister Melody Sprague; his nephews, Rendy Richards (Ann) of Greensboro, NC and Scott Lockett of Columbus; and his niece Lori Bias of Columbus.
