He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Libert Saylor and Ruth Edna Saylor Klein (Koogler); his daughter Edie Thatcher; his brother Richard A. Saylor; and his sister-in-law Noreen S. Ley-Saylor.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Saylor (Keeran); his daughter April Frazee (Joe) of Granville; his grandchildren, Sasha Knowles (Jonathon), Amber Thatcher and Justin Frazee (Charlie Weekly); his great grandchildren, Dylan Knowles, Lana Thatcher-Knowles, Evelyn Knowles and Wynter Jones; his sister Nancy Saylor of Newark; his nieces, Joy Payne (Sy) of Fort Myers and Jill Hupp-Wiles (Greg) of Newark; his close friends, Brenda, Cline Estep of Newark, Paige and Nick Naylor of Heath; and also Janet Frazee.
