He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sterrett and Bernice Sterrett (Myers). He is survived by: his children, Richard Sterrett (Rikki) and Susan Sterrett; and his stepchildren, Kauko Aro (Judith), Ilkka Aro and Pirkko McBride (James). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
