Samuel Cline III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Cline III of Grand Rapids, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Lucille Cline Jr. (Wheeler); his stepfather Jacob Bowmaster; his daughter Mary Nalbach; his great grandchild Victoria Foster; his siblings, Christopher, Orrel Cline, Frances Herr and Evelyn Jensen; and his sons-in-law, Charles Hillsberry and William Nalbach.
He is survived by: his children, Lucy Hillsberry (Jerry Carson), Kristen Hogrefe (Jason), Sam Cline (Kathy), Eric Flora (Kim), John Cline (Marisa) and Jason Cline (Brooke); his grandchildren, Eric, Robin, Katie, Cody, Justine, Chase, Grace, Kate, Sophie, Bryndie, Colt, Britton, Rheya, Cole, Athena, Whitney and Cecelia; his close friend Carol Bowers; and his brother-in-law Ove Jensen. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions in Ed's honor may be gifted to either the Alva N. Sidle American Legion Post #232, or the Grand Rapids Township Fire & Rescue Department.
