He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert John Freeworth and Audrey Freeworth (Brown); his wife Betty Freeworth (George); his stepdaughter Debbie McColley; his son Robert V. "Bob" Freeworth; his sister Wilma Jennings; and his close friend Fran Huffman (Janice Wade).

He is survived by: his children, Harold W. Freeworth (Kim) and Teena Kistner (Steve); his grandchildren, Brock, Brittani, Brianne, Hillary, Mandon, Mallory and Heather; and his brother Junior Freeworth (Jane).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church.
