He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard "Chub" Bowers and Helen Bowers (Halbert); his wife Barbara Hojnacki; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his son Kevin Bowers (Mary) of Weston; his sister Delen "Dee"; his grandsons, Steven and Justin (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Hannah (Eddie), Carter, Jase, Peyton and Knox; and his great great grandchildren, Laila and Lennox.

Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
