With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Rae Sayles of Grafton, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William; her children, Karen Dove and David Sayles; and her siblings, Barbara Ruth Hildebrandt and Richard Hildebrandt.
She is survived by: her daughter Martha Mitan; and her siblings, Patricia Krischer and Raymond Hildebrandt. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
