He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; and his siblings, Fran Thomas, Bill, Ronald and Donald Zelis.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Kochenower (Evan), Betty Varhola (Paul), Fran Roberts (Rick) and Bobbie Altomare (James); and his brothers, Bernie Zelis and Joe Zelis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 East 185th St. Cleveland, OH. 44119.
