She was predeceased by: her brother Charles "Chuck" Allen; and her parents, Harper Allen and Ruth Allen (Nee Stump). She is survived by: her significant other Ronald J. McKenzie (Joe); her children, Angela Hartley (Michael) of LaGrange and Sean McKenzie (Jeanne) of Norwalk; her siblings, Vona Moss (Dale) of Elyria, Jerry Allen (Linda), Revelee "Henry" Allen (Judy) and Glen "Shorty" Allen (Kay); and her sister-in-law Jeanne Allen of West Virginia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
