He is survived by: his wife Rita; his son Gary Denomme (Laura); his grandchildren, Kristen Clark (Paul), Ryan Denomme (Jess) and Leah Denomme; and his stepbrother Bert Powell (Sandy). He is also survived by 4 great – granddaughters.

“Very sorry for your loss. Though i never knew Leon, i think my father and Leon were cousins. My pastor notified me of Leon's obituary in the Chronical. He recognized the Denomme name. My father's name was Eugene Roland Denomme, 1925-2000. My mother is Rita (Plante) Denomme. My mother and I live in Elyria, but we are all from Rhode Island.
