He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Plata and Frances Plata; and his brother-in-law Joe Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Kevin, Allena Shaffer (Joseph) and Robert Boone (Pam Minnick); his grandchildren, Ashley Spooner, Aaron Spooner, Matt Spooner and Eric Boone; and his siblings, George Card (Barbara), Helen Andrews, Steve Plata (Diane) and Mickey Chandler (Jeff). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
