We bid farewell to Gertrude Cordy of Grafton, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 95. Gertrude touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; and her parents, Michael and Mary. She is survived by: her children, Marcia, Sheryl (Dennis), Joan (Joe), Joyce (Dave), Russell (Carol), Alan, Brian (Pam) and David (Ruth); and her grandson Andrew J. Hoover. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (708 Erie St, Grafton, OH 44044). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Gertrude's memory be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
