Carlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her daughter Grace; her siblings, Terry Emerick, Bruce Emerick, Nancy Tiech, Sally Stockman and Joyce Potts; and her parents, Carl Emerick and Arlene Bober.
She is survived by: her children, James Pennington of Elyria, Ray "Chris" Slack (Shoko) of Pensacola, FL, John Slack of Grafton, Terri Dick (Howard) of Ocala, FL and Patsy Tripphahn of Grafton; and her siblings, Tim Bober of Vermilion, Micki Schiffman of Columbia Statione, Carrie Feiszli of Vermilion and Kathy Pickett of Wakeman. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
