She was predeceased by: her husband Delmar N. Overton; her parents, Leona Trantham and Zon Trantham; and her sisters, Patricia Stanifer, Corene Grisham and Juanita Sheffler.

She is survived by: her sons, Delmar Wince Isaac Overton, Robert Wayne Overton and Norman Keith Elliott Overton; and her grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Overton and Lincoln Isaac Smith.
