He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Blevins and Opal Zeller Blevins; and his siblings, William, Gene, Sherman, Barney, Dean, Kenneth, Hubert, Billy, Alma and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hutchinson Blevins; his children, Richard Leroy Blevins Jr., Tammy Blevins and Nathan Blevins (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Ava, Maxine, Jordan, Elsa, Eva and Walker.
