He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Carpenter; and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Carpenter; and his siblings, Donald Carpenter, Dan Carpenter (Sandy) and Dottie Brown (Lytle). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
