He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patti Bates; his siblings, Tim Bates (Dawn) and Donna Walsh (Frank); his stepsister Sheri Moyer; and his nieces and nephews, April McDermitt (Greg), Alex Bates (Ashlee) and Erin Brooks (Mark).
