He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hahn and Ruth Hahn; his grandsons, Dexter and Aaron; and his former wife Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hahn; his children, Ester Alcorn, Julia Dague (James), Melvin Hahn Jr., James "Ted" Hahn (Susan), Rebecca Kannenberg (Dale) and Rechelle Knof (Greg); and his sister Sharon Binkly (Dennis). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
