It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Marie Kraus (Goshen, Ohio), born in Williamsburg, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard Preston and Maxine Howlett; her children, Howard Cole and Nancy Cole; her stepson Steve Kraus; her granddaughter Melissa Green; and her siblings, Ada Mae Lawson, Preston Lee Howlett, Myra Lou Proctor, Stanley Edward Howlett, Floyd Ernest Howlett of James, K. C, Roy Curtis Howlett, Joseph Andrew Howlett, William Alfred Howlett, Nora Pearl Howlett and Charlene Faye Howlett.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Joseph Kraus; her children, Donna Ramos (Richardo), Larry Cole, Leatha Zelaya, Rocky Cole (Kimberle), Charles Cole and Louise Howard (Tim); her stepchildren, Joe Kraus, Kathy Wedding (Steve), Noni Dietrich, Terry Kraus and John Kraus; and her grandchildren, Milagros Ramos, Alex Ramos, Amanda Spangler, Michelle Ramos, Christina Cole, Bailey Cole, Tricia Leon (Paul), Jennifer Heath, Carmen Helmers (Rick), Cameron Cole, Krystal Haynes (J. T.), Monica Green, Jon Howard and Chelsea Howard (Criss). She is also survived by 39 great grandchildren.
Her family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor to Hospice of Cincinnati or St. Jude.
