He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Philhower and Evelyn Philhower; his brother Harold "Sonny" Philhower; and his close friend Joyce Murphy. He is survived by: his former wife Maria "Laila" Sullivan; his children, Mark Philhower, Gloria Philhower (Keith Seals) and Laila Philhower Volker; his grandchildren, Mallorie, Madison Philhower, Brittany, Savannah Seals, Hailey Farmer, Austin and Kennedi Volker; his great grandchild Penelope; and his friends, Oreo and Jimbo.
