He was predeceased by: his wife Marsha Mulvaney; his mother Dot Dawson; his grandparents, Ernestine and Delbert Morford; and his brother Terry Swiger.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Crampton (Vern), Shannon Huhn, Jennifer Swiger, Jamie Richards (JR) and Jessica Swiger (Jody Ballou); his grandchildren, Eric, Krystal, Brittany, Brooke, Isaiah and Savannah; and his siblings, Lonnie Frye and Peggy Bruist. He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, a nephew, and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in James' name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
