He was predeceased by : his grandmother Ruth Kinman; his parents, Arnold Kinman and Betty Kinman Berwanger; his stepfather Jack Berwanger; his brother Rick Kinman (Randy Berwanger); and his friend Kim Hewitt.

He is survived by : his children, Gary Kinman and Melissa Rickman (Jeff); his siblings, Marlene Bailey (late Bob), Karen Coffey (Mark), Jay Berwanger (Steven), Scott Berwanger (Melinda), Ronald Dunn (Pat), Carol Dunn, Lana Windle (Rick) and Debbie Wiedenbein; his grandchildren, Zac, Alivia, Kylah, Degan, Kailey and Jackson; his sister-in-law Marcia Kinman; and his daughter-in-law Nickie Kinman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
