She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hobson and Mary Hobson; her husband Howard Edwin Whitaker; her son Paul Whitaker; her grandchild Kim Hall (James); and her siblings, Harley Hobson and Dot Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Bud Whitaker (late Charlene), Bill Whitaker (Maryann), Carla Whitaker and Marla Patton; and her grandchildren, Brian Whitaker, Steve Garrison (Mendy), Lisa Chase (Dan), Angie Michael (Ben), Gill Baylis (Andy), Chad Whitaker, Robin Allen and Derek Whitaker (Magan).
