George B. Gierach Jr. Obituary
We bid farewell to George B. Gierach Jr. of Goshen, Ohio, born in Florence, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 97. George B. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine R. Gierach; his daughter Pam Nause; his grandson Nick Nause Sr.; his siblings, Edith, Ruth, Thelma, Joan, Phyllis, Joyce, Norb, Bernie, Kenny and Bob; and his parents, George B. Sr. Gierach and Edith Gierach.
He is survived by: his grandsons, James Nause Jr. (Rhonda) and Bryan Nause Sr. (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Kayla McKenzie (Johnny), Bryan Nause Jr. (Olivia), Nick Nause Jr., Alexus Riley, Shelby Riley, Penny King, Logen Nause, Robyn King and Caleb Nause; his great great grandchild John Red McKenzie; his son-in-law James Nause Sr.; and his close friend Rosie Hale. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Goshen Chapel (1668 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Woodville Cemetery.
