He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Dorothy Bradt Baird; his stepmother Virginia Baird; his sister Gwendolyn Steelsmith; and his daughter-in-law Cathy Metzgar Baird.
He is survived by: his children, Debra L. Sanor (Scott) of East Rochester, Rebecca J. Cavanaugh (Jack) of Leetonia and Douglas Eugene Baird of Salem; his grandchildren, Shawn Bruderly, Tod Sanor, Brooke Tice, Andy Sanor, Nicholas Baird and Erica Swope; and his sisters, Sheila Spack and Georgia Sanor. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and his caring in-laws.
