He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Nusbaum and Mabel Nusbaum; his siblings, Doris Maley, Elinor Martin and Robert Nusbaum; his wife Sharon Litten Nusbaum; his children, David P. Nusbaum (Kristy) of Gomer, Matthew J. Nusbaum (Heather) of Columbus Grove, Kelly A. Richards (Michael) of Gomer and Dina K. Tadena (Steve) of Pandora; his grandchildren, Jay Tadena (Jennifer), Nicholas Tadena, Seth Tadena, Maegan Richards Mosier (Brian), Trevor Richards (Ashley), Alexandria Nusbaum, Gabriella Nusbaum, Darik Thomas (Bethany), Sammy Nusbaum, Madison Nusbaum and Willard Nusbaum; and his great grandchildren, Emery Markey, Alorah Cruz, Eleanor Tadena and Max Mosier.
