He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Simmerman and Faylene Simmerman of Peoli; his siblings, Charity Simmerman, Jason Simmerman (Melissa), Joshua Simmerman (Jennifer) and Kelli Johnson (Gregory); and his nieces and nephews, Austin Simmerman, Jack Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Grace Johnson, Farrah Simmerman and Faith Simmerman.
In lieu of flowers, since Shawn was such a sports fan and always looked forward to watching his nieces and nephews play sports, memorial contributions can be made to the Indian Valley Athletic Department.
