She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Colwell and Thelma Colwell (Brick); her sister Joyce Guthrie; and her parents-in-law, Ben and Florence Metzger.
She is survived by: her husband John Metzger; her children, John W. Metzger (Linda) of Texas, Beth Fouts (Dan) of Gnadenhutten and Craig Metzger (Carol) of Gnadenhutten; her grandchildren, Rachel Hill (John) of Texas, Brittany Engstrom (Jeremy) of Port Washington, Brock Metzger of Port Washington and Danielle Robinson (Terry) of New Philadelphia; her great grandchildren, Gavin Fouts, Gage Fouts, Garrity Robinson, Jeremy Engstrom, Ryleigh Engstrom and Delaney Engstrom; her brothers, James Colwell (Hester) of New Philadelphia and Ben; and her sister-in-law Sara Metzger of Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
