He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Opphile and Cora Opphile (Moore); his siblings, Thelma Kenney, Beatrice Mathews, Gladys Wilson, Llyod, Harold and Floyd Opphile; and his nephew Bart Opphile.
He is survived by: his wife Florence (Steinbach); his children, Kim Terrion (Dan) of Newcomerstown, Michael Opphile (Donna) of Uhrichsville, Lisa Fansler (James Swiger) of Port Washington and Amy Wagner (James) of Columbus; and his siblings, Charles Opphile, Carol Everhart (Steve) and Bob Opphile (Nola).
