He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse "John" and Mary M. Harmon (Burrier); his wife Patricia Ann (Huebner); and his siblings, Freda Ager, Harry Harmon and Chester Harmon.

He is survived by: his children, Dave A. Harmon (Bonnie) of Gnadenhutten and Sue E. Heverly (Forrest) of New Philadelphia; and his grandchildren, Clinton Heverly and Katie Harmon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the John Heckewelder Memorial Moravian Church or to Community Hospice.
