He is survived by: his wife Sheila Barnhart; his children, Russell E. Barnhart Jr. (Heidi Spears) of Athens, Karen Riley (Wayne Bolin) of The Plains and Gearoldean Barnhart of Glouster; and his stepchildren, Jerry "Bub" Christman (Mary) of Nelsonville, Eric Christman of Lancaster and Jeffrey Wright of Columbus. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
