He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sanders and Mable McPeak Sanders; and his brothers, Chester, Ralph, Jack and Bill Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Van Way Sanders of Glouster; his children, Jo Ellen Craig (Joe Ratliff) of Glouster and Don Sanders of Glouster; and his brother Dow Sanders (Nancy) of Glouster. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
