He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Butt and Jeannette Titus Butt; his great grandchild Celsey Frash; his son-in-law Butch Westfall; and his sister Coleen Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Shockley Butt of Glouster; and his children, David L. Butt (Melissa) of Florida, Brian E. Butt (Regina) of Glouster and Vickie Westfall of Ringgold. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
