John Williams Obituary

The memory of John Williams of Glouster, Ohio, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Williams and Mary McConaha Williams; his wife Betty L. Dixon Williams; his daughters, Marlene (David Richards) and Susan (Bruce DeGarmore); his grandson John Richards; and his siblings, Violet Buchman, Garnet Richards, Claude Williams and Melvin "Moose" McKee.

He is survived by: his children, John W. Williams (Ida) of Glouster, Esther Williams (Bill Spencer) of Glouster, Darlene Williams of Glouster and Brenda Arnold (Bob) of Glouster; his grandchildren, Tonya Richards, D. J. Brooks (Wendy), David Richards (Heather), Dusty Waldeck (Shawn Turley), Susan Guthrie, Randy Waldeck (Kayla Jenkins), Sondra Brooks, Ryan DeGarmore (Ashley), Jake DeGarmore (Miranda Dykes), Brenda Rusell (Jack), Angie Russell (Bill), Sandy Keaton and Julie Howard (Brian); his siblings, Betty Limo of Glouster, Daniel McKee (Pat) of Glouster and Earl McKee of Glouster; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Lafollette of Glouster, Alice Ronk of Glouster and Jim Giroski of Glouster; and his close friends, Harold, Ruth Springer, Joe Mesaros and Randy Waldeck Sr.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bishopville Church of Christ (6555 S State Rte 78, Glouster, OH 45732). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
