He was predeceased by: his parent William Henry; his wife Barbara Ann Mitchell Mills; and his granddaughter Tiana Rose Mills. He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Irene Lugenbell Mills; his children, David Mills (Barbie) and John; and also, Kim Malensek (Doug) of Chardon, Brenda Hopkins (Larry) of Texas, Romona Lilley (Dennis) of West Farmington, Michelle Goins (David) of Athens, Sherri Mills, Michael David Mills (Melissa) of Indiana, John Henry Mills (Teresa) of Glouster and David Gilbert Mills (Jennifer) of The Plains. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, and many, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
